UPDATED: 7 p.m. -- With containment of the Kyburz Fire at 90 percent, all lanes on Highway 50 have now been reopened. Motorists are still being urged to drive carefully as firefighters and equipment may still be in the area.

UPDATED: 10:50 p.m. - One lane of Hwy 50 through the burn area reopened Friday evening, as firefighters are getting a better handle on the Kyburz Fire which has burned 200 acres in the El Dorado National Forest. Containment stands at 30 percent.
