California Gov. Gavin Newsom will give his annual State of the State address tonight. This year’s speech will be a little different, and not just because of the pandemic. Normally, California's governor gives the ceremonial address during the day, at the state capitol, in front of state lawmakers. But Newsom is moving this year’s speech to an evening slot and he’ll be in Los Angeles, delivering the address virtually.

Cap Radio will carry the governor's address live and provide analysis starting at 6 p.m.
