Approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

That’s according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with boys four times more likely to be diagnosed than girls.

A forthcoming Facebook Live play and panel discussion will look to educate viewers on autism. The play, titled ‘Through Andrew's Eyes,’ is cast with actors who are both neurodiverse and neurotypical.

We take a closer look at the event today and the importance of autism awareness.

Guests

  • Actor, writer, and The Balcony founder Nathaniel Ansbach
  • Actor and playwright Oscar Cabrera
Resources
