The experiences of anyone who went outside this weekend could have ranged from busy bike trails and walking paths to the complete opposite: empty closed parks, playgrounds, and more, with no access allowed.

Areas such as Tahoe also might’ve seemed appealing, but city officials are cautioning outsiders to stay away as the policies on the coronavirus stay-at-home orders and restrictions continue to vary by city and county.

We check in today with the mayors of Chico and Truckee on their city restrictions how they’re managing with the coronavirus pandemic.

Guests

  • Mayor of Truckee David Polivy
  • Mayor of Chico Ann Schwab
