Placer County Coronavirus Death And California State Of Emergency Update

A Placer County resident died this week of COVID-19, the illness caused by coronavirus. It marks the first coronavirus death in the state of California. Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency just hours after it was reported.
