Two months before the Iowa Caucuses and weeks before the next Democratic debate, California Sen. Kamala Harris has ended her bid to be her party’s presidential nominee. Harris had been falling in the polls, struggling with raising campaign cash and dealing with problems with her staff. 

POLITICO’s Carla Marinucci, who co-authors the California Playbook, has been following the presidential candidates, including Harris, for months. She joins us from the studios of the Center for Investigative Reporting in Emeryville.
