Lindsay Swearingen is an artist who makes illustrations and embroidery under the name Tusk and Cardinal.

Her work features pen and ink illustrations that blend mid-century modern furniture and spooky images like a houseplant made of hands. She cites influences like Edward Gorey and goth imagery to animate her intimate
