Yesterday, while new PG&E CEO Bill Johnson was testifying before a state Assembly committee, Cal Fire announced that their investigators had found that the utility's lines sparked last fall's deadly Camp Fire.

85 people died in the fire, which burned through the towns of Paradise, Concow, Magalia and Pulga in rural Butte County. More than 14,000 homes were damaged. Cal Fire has not released their full investigative report.

PG&E filed for bankruptcy in January after being held responsible for other devastating wildfires in 2017. The utility said in February that it was likely that its lines caused the Camp Fire.
