California U.S. Senator and 2020 presidential hopeful Kamala Harris has called her plan to cut taxes one of the most significant tax breaks in years for working- and middle-class earners. Harris’ office said the LIFT (Liveable Incomes for Families Today) the Middle Class Act would provide tax breaks for up to 80 million working Americans. PolitiFact California Reporter Chris Nichols compares the reach and impact of Harris’ plan to past federal tax breaks.
