The California Civic Engagement Project at the USC Price School of Public Policy has been studying voter turnout results from the 2018 election. The November 2018 races saw the highest turnout in a midterm election since 1982, with youth voters (age 18 to 24) making up the biggest share since 2002. Latino and Asian American voters both increased overall and by share of the electorate, too.

Dr. Mindy Romero returns to Insight to break down the results and what it means for California’s changing electorate.
