A multimedia exhibition featuring more than 50 personal stories of deportation is opening this weekend in Davis. Sponsored by International House Davis, “Humanizing Deportation” brings together a series of community dialogues in collaboration with artists and organizations working locally in Tijuana on immigration policy to show the personal reverberations. The exhibition is a first for I-House, an institution that has served as official host for international visitors to the city of Davis since 1909.

Executive Director Rijin Sahakian talks about the exhibition and how it reflects the new direction of I-House.
