UC Davis Professor Harris Lewin is embarking on the Earth BioGenome Project, an ambitious 10-year effort to map the DNA of every living thing on earth. With a team of researchers, he’ll begin compiling the genetic information of all the world’s species in hopes of saving biodiversity for future generations.
