Author Kirstin Chen is tonight's featured author at Stories on Stage Sacramento. She will share passages from her latest novel, "Bury What We Cannot Take," at the Sacramento Poetry Center starting at 7:30 p.m.
The novel follows the story of a family trying to escape Maoist China as they grapple with the consequences of the decision to flee and their hope for redemption.
