KVIE will air "ViewFinder: Beyond the Ice Bucket Challenge" on June 20 at 7 p.m. The documentary focuses on a new drug helping people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Documentary producer Joyce Mitchell joins to talk about how the film came about.

KVIE will host a special screening event on June 12 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. including a Q&A with the filmmakers and guest speakers living with the disease. Tickets are free, but there are a limited number of seats available.
