Percussionist Alex Jenkins will record a live album with his quartet this Sunday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at the CLARA Auditorium, presented by the Midtown Vanguard Jazz Series.

The Alex Jenkins Quartet features Levi Saelua on tenor sax, Arlyn Anderson on guitar, and Alex Reiff on bass. Jenkins immersed himself in Indian percussion styles, recently adding tabla drums to his repertoire.
