Climate change impacts high-altitude societies just as much as those at sea level.

Professor Mark Aldenderfer studies anthropological archaeology in the Andes and Himalayas. He's known for his research featured in National Geographic and Nova, including "The Secrets of the Sky Tombs" and "Cave People of the Himalaya." In 2016, Aldenderfer was named one of the first two John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Chairs at the UC Merced campus.

He joins Insight to discuss his latest project in Nepal and how a changing climate is affecting people living among the clouds.
