Health Workers Step Up To Help Victims Of Human Trafficking

Dr. Ron Chambers launched his sex trafficking safe haven program in summer 2016, and he’s seen about 150 patients so far.

Doctors and nurses are playing a larger role in identifying and intervening with victims of human trafficking. Capital Public Radio's health reporter Sammy Caiola looked into how health professionals are helping to provide information and resources to trafficking victims across Northern California.
