Perhaps you’ve heard that Capital Public Radio and the Harris Center will present a concert tomorrow honoring Benny Goodman’s historic 1938 concert at Carnegie Hall. Clarinet virtuoso Ken Peplowski is the headliner who will perform with the Sacramento Jazz Orchestra. 

While that concert is sold-out, we managed to snag Ken and his pianist for a special in-studio performance and interview. It started with Ken telling CapRadio’s Paul Conley about a similar tribute he performed in New York just last weekend with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
