San Joaquin Chief Medical Examiner Resigns In Protest Over Interference By Sheriff

San Joaquin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Bennet Omalu resigned from his post Tuesday after alleging systematic interference by the Sheriff into forensic investigations. This comes one week after Dr. Omalu's colleague Dr. Susan Parson resigned for similar reasons. Sheriff Steve Moore denies these accusations and any wrongdoing. The Stockton
