StoryCorps, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to recording, preserving, and sharing the stories of Americans from all backgrounds and beliefs, will record interviews in Sacramento as part of its 2015 cross-country mobile booth tour. StoryCorps Mobile Story Booth site manager Emily Janssen joins us to talk about the mission of StoryCorps. We'll also take a tour of the mobile "Story Booth" recording studio with facilitators Danielle Andersen and Erika Romero, and hear stories collected during StoryCorps previous visit to Sacramento in 2008. You can tour the MobileBooth yourself at a StoryCorps Launch Party Thursday morning at 11:00 in the Belle Cooledge Public Library parking lot in Land Park.
