One of the most iconic images taken by Fair Oaks photojournalist Micah Albert – that of a solitary woman reading in what is considered the largest dump site in the World – is one that has left him with lots of questions. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he never learned the name or story of the subject of the photo that went on to win him first place in the World Press Photo Awards, Contemporary Issue in 2013. But that all changed recently when Albert returned to Dandora, Kenya on another assignment and found the woman. We’ll hear the rest of the story when Albert joins us in studio to talk about his trip and reconnecting with a lost subject.
