Sacramento, CA
A local photographer known for his black-and-white photos of other artists – including Ansel Adams - has been working on a project for more than three decades. Work from this project – which was helped along by a grant from the Sacramento Region Community Foundation through the Leff-Davis Fund for Visual Artists – is currently on display. There will be a Second Saturday event next week. We’ll talk with Kurt Fishback about his labor of love and why he felt the need to focus on female artists.
