New Helvetia Theatre has made a name for itself in Sacramento by bringing lesser known musical theatre to the region. Their newest production: “I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking it On the Road” is an Off-Broadway musical from 1978 that served as a feminist vehicle. New Helvetia’s production features actors Maggie Hollinbeck and Jerry Lee in leading roles with New Helvetia Founding Artistic Director Connor Mickiewicz directing. “I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking it On the Road” runs through Nov. 22.
