The Celtic duo (and sometimes trio) A Thousand Years at Sea will perform at the 18th Annual KVMR Celtic Festival this weekend at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. Colin Cotter and Ethan Lewis form the core of this ever-evolving group playing contemporary American songs blended with a mix of traditional Celtic tunes.

The Celtic Festival is a fundraiser for community radio KVMR that features music, dance, pageantry, living history, falconry, athletics, storytelling, jam sessions and shopping. It runs September 26, 27 and 28. Joining Cotter and Lewis for an in-studio performance ahead of the festival is djembe player Isaac James.
