Vinnie Guidera & The Dead Birds started as a solo project and evolved into an indie rock trio. Their first record “Lows” was released in November 2015, featuring Vinnie’s acoustic guitar fed through an electric guitar setup for a blend of fuzz and twang. In November, Vinnie Guidera & The Dead Birds will release their second album “Shedding,” which they produced with help from a crowdfunding campaign.

They spoke with Insight's Randol White about the art and DIY aesthetic.
