Sister Crayon Releases Video To Coincide With SCOTUS Ruling

  •  Nick Brunner
Friday, June 26, 2015
Note: Video contains strong language

Terra Lopez and Dani Fernandez have a long history of advocating for same-sex marriage both before and since forming the band Sister Crayon. Today the band released a video for the song “Ride | Die” after pushing production up to coincide with today’s Supreme Court ruling that same-sex couples may be allowed to marry anywhere within the United States.

From the band’s website:

“… we wrote this song as an anthem for ourselves, for our friends who maybe had the same doubts, and as a dedication to our friends who do have this kind of love.  … This video is dedicated to our friends, our family, our lovers, and to our fans who live and love unapologetically.

#lovewins

-SC.”

Sister Crayon’s latest album Devoted was released at the beginning of this month on Rodriguez-Lopez Productions. The video was produced by Mike Rafter and released via Sacramento apparel line, Official.
