Photos: Shop Black Friday With These Sacramento Black-Owned Businesses

For the fourth year running, Florin Square businesses are holding a Shop Black Friday event, asking people to “Buy Black.”

Organizers say this year, which has seen a global pandemic and a racial justice uprising, will be important for the many small, Black-owned businesses in the area.

“So when we looked at it in this economic justice component, we’re like well, why not create an alternative for Black Friday, right, create our own space,” said co-organizer and business owner Berry Accius.

Here are some of the participating businesses at the African Market Place in Sacramento:
