Students throughout the country are getting an opportunity to see what NASA astronauts are up to on the International Space Station and maybe even speak directly with an astronaut.

Monday morning at nine, NASA will host a Facebook live broadcast from the International Space Station for students and teachers. The event kicks off a yearlong project aimed at engaging students across the country in science and space.

"The Year of Education on Station" will include live broadcasts and lesson plans for kindergarten through post-graduate teachers that aim to answer questions like: What's the difference between mass and gravity? And how does the station produce oxygen for the astronauts? Teachers can find more information here.
