A suspect has been arrested in connection with a hit-an-run crash that killed a Natomas teenager, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Dexter Laron Glover Jr. was arrested around 11:30 p.m Monday and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
Investigators said Inderkum High School student Jamari Moore was riding his bike northbound on El Centro Road, south of Arena Boulevard, when he was hit by a southbound car around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 17.
CHP officials said the car was taken during a carjacking outside a Safeway store on Del Paso Road about 30 minutes before the fatal collision. The car was located the next day.
CHP says the investigation is ongoing.
