If you haven't made your Fourth of July plans yet, there are many events to choose from. We rounded up local fireworks shows and events planned for Sacramento and surrounding areas.

July 3rd Fireworks & Beach Party - Kings Beach
This 38th annual event will take place outside of the North Tahoe Event Center. There will be food vendors, contests, raffles, live music and a fireworks show to wrap up the celebration.

Salute To The Red, White And Blue - Elk Grove
This annual event has been on for 21 years and continues the tradition in 2017. The celebration is held at Elk Grove Regional Park starting at 4 p.m. There will be vendors, live music, performances, and a pie-eating contest. The Fireworks Spectacular starts at 9:30 p.m.

Fourth On The Field - Sacramento
This event is held at Raley Field but the fireworks show can be seen from Old Sacramento and nearby areas. The best spots to see the show for free are on the east and west side of the Sacramento River near the Tower Bridge. There is a fee for Raley Field admission.

July 4th At Cal Expo - Sacramento
General admission to Cal Expo's Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand is free. However, you can purchase reserved seats. There will be live music performances leading up the fireworks show. Some people watch the fireworks from surrounding areas near Cal Expo. If you want to get away from the crowds and get a pleasant view you can take the trail on the parkway to the south side of Cal Expo and set up lawn chairs and picnics. If you do go this route, bring a bike light for the trip home.

Lincoln 4th Of July Celebration - Lincoln
This annual event will be held at McBean Park in Lincoln. The fireworks show can be seen from different parts of town but the best view is from the park. There will be events starting at 7 a.m. breakfast fundraiser followed by a parade at 9 a.m.

Rancho Cordova Fourth Of July - Rancho Cordova
The Cordova Community Council hosts this two-day event at Hagan Park. The festival starts on July 3rd with carnival rides and live music followed by a fireworks show. On Tuesday events kick-off at 9 a.m. with a 5K run. There will also be a parade, carnival rides, live music and a fireworks show to wrap up the night.

4th Of July Roseville - Roseville
The city of Roseville kicks off the celebrations with a 5K run followed by a full schedule of activities. There will be a parade, carnival games, food vendors and, of course, a fireworks show starting around 9:30 p.m.
