A new company in Sacramento is offering a cannabis subscription-box service. The Sacramento Business Journal's Managing Editor for Digital News — Christopher Arns — says "Nug Run" is going for a boutique approach.
"Their marketing includes a lot of the tag lines, like 'locally made' and 'small batch,' that might appeal to foodies or fans of craft businesses," Arns says. "Nug Run's edible products are made in Sacramento but for now, the company gets cannabis from outside the Sacramento region."
The products are delivered to subscribers by car ... since it would be illegal for the company to send cannabis through the mail. Subscribers also need a doctor's note for medicinal marijuana to start the service.
