The National Weather Service is forecasting a week of rain and snow across the region.
Forecasters say the sequence of the storms might feel like a big one.
"This week it's going to be about three or four, the public really won't notice much of a break between most of them," says David Rose, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Rowe says that the snow level will stay moderately high Monday.
"About 5,000 feet or so [Monday], but they should be lowering back down to about 3 or 4,000 feet as we get into the middle of the week," says Rowe.
Rowe says a sequence of storms will drop one to two inches of rain in the Sacramento Valley and up to four inches in the foothills by the end of the week.
The strongest storm should bring gusts up to thirty miles per hour Tuesday morning as the storm front passes over the region.
