Sacramento Republic FC has launched an online survey to ask people what they would want in a new soccer stadium and how they would want it to look.
The team is in the beginning stages of the design phase. Some of the people who take part in the survey will be asked to participate in workshops with the stadium's design team.
The first renderings for the stadium could be completed by the end of this year.
Sacramento Republic currently plays on Bonnie Field at Cal Expo.
Team owners have said they will build a new stadium with private money when Sacramento secures a Major League Soccer franchise.
A new stadium could be completed by the summer of 2018.
