Missing Mounted Moose Head Has Placer County Sheriff's Office On The Hunt

This mounted moose head was taken Jan. 22 from the Sunnyside Resort in North Lake Tahoe. The Placer County Sheriff's Dept. is seeking information about the burglary.

A moose is missing. Part of a moose, that is.

A historic mounted moose head was taken from the Sunnyside Resort in North Lake Tahoe on Jan. 22, and the Placer County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating it.

There's a $1,000 cash reward to help in solving the burglary and recovering the missing trophy.
