As the Director of Corporate Support and Underwriting, Paul is responsible for managing a team of sales executives representing CapRadio's four NPR/News stations and three Classical/Jazz stations as well as CapRadio’s digital offerings. The corporate support department works in close partnership with local and regional businesses to develop on-air and online marketing campaigns tailored to accomplish strategic marketing goals and create revenue for the station.
Prior to joining CapRadio in 2012, Paul was the General Sales Manager of Integrated Media at Clear Channel Media & Entertainment in Sacramento and a senior sales executive and Entercom, also in Sacramento. At Clear Channel Paul managed a staff of 21 sellers focusing on monetizing streaming audio and all digital content on six-station platforms.
Paul began his media career in 1992 with local NBC affiliate KCRA and quickly learned that his heart wasn't in network television and moved to commercial radio at KFBK and Y92, followed by moves to Henry Broadcasting until 1998. In between radio careers Paul was a registered representative assisting individuals and businesses with investment and retirement planning. As a radio marketing executive and as an investment advisor, Paul brings a long history of superior customer relationship management and service.
When not working, Paul balances family, cycling, and gardening and community service. He is currently past board chair of Breathe California Sacramento and trustee of the Point West Rotary Foundation.
