Joanne started her journey at CapRadio working with The View From Here documentary team as a production assistant. She contributed to the production of a number of documentaries. And, also used her social media passion to help create Twitter and Facebook strategic plans that boosted the documentary program’s online presence.
Joanne speaks both English and Arabic fluently and uses her language skills to give voices to more people in our community through storytelling.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in mass communication from Sacramento State University.
