Danielle McKinney joins CapRadio as a winter/spring 2020 intern from Sacramento State, where she is pursuing a degree in journalism.
She recently received an associates degree in journalism from Sacramento City College, where she spent three semesters at the student-run Express newspaper. This most recent semester, she served as co-editor-in-chief.
Danielle says she hopes to spend her time at CapRadio learning the different aspects of the newsroom. “I am passionate about social justice, truth and equity, and hope to spark conversations and bring awareness to important topics through my writing and reporting.”
