City's Parks & Rec Cuts: Restrooms, Pool Hours, Trash Pickup
The city of Sacramento is closing half its summer day camps and several swimming pools and sharply limiting hours at community centers. It’s also cutting back on maintenance at 200 parks. That’s all a result of the city’s new budget.

Fare Hikes Start In Bay Area Wednesday
If you’re heading to the Bay Area, it’ll cost you more to take public transportation starting Wednesday. BART, Muni and the Golden Gate ferry and bus system all have fare increases taking effect.
