    Assembly Republicans rejected a Democratic budget proposal last Sunday night. It was the first floor vote on a spending plan that’s now nearly 50 days late. Even so, there’s optimism that the debate may have moved things forward.

  • Med Fly Quarantine Over
    The State has declared a victory in its effort to get rid of med fly infestations in three counties. Those areas have been under a nearly year-long quarantine—which prevented some farmers in Northern California from selling produce for a while.
