Your Budget Questions We follow up on our recent show about California's budget crisis. We've gotten local experts to answer listener questions related to the budget.

State Parks Funding for California State Parks continues to be cut and some parks are facing closure. The California State Parks Foundation and Save the Redwoods League recently issued a report examining state parks and how they might be kept viable in the future. The report, "A Vision for Excellence for California's State Parks," is a new plan for the next 100 years to ensure the survival of California state parks and fight future foreclosures and cuts to the system. We'll talk about it with Elizabeth Goldstein, President of the California State Parks Foundation.

Oil on the Brain The author of "Oil on the Brain: Reckoning with the Real Cost of Gasoline" is speaking Friday at the Utility Exploration Center in Roseville. We'll talk with journalist Lisa Margonelli about her entertaining yet sobering look at the oil industry.

DQ University 40th The "other" university in Davis celebrates the 40th anniversary of its founding. DQ University was a tribal community college that focuses on indigenous people.
