Columbus Day Controversy Monday is Columbus Day, a holiday for many government workers, but is it still a holiday for state workers in California? Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says it's no longer a holiday and workers should come in on Monday, but the biggest state worker union says it is a holiday and workers should stay away.
