'Prairie Wind' In the early 1950s, U.S. scientists conducted shocking aerospace experiments in a Nebraska town. The goal was to test winds created by rockets near ground level. It was an important step in the creation of America's space program. Today on Insight, a local journalist tells the story of the Nebraska experiments. An article he's written about it is in the latest issue of a national magazine.

A Place Called Sacramento Horror movies, thrillers and other kinds of films set in Sacramento will show this weekend at the Crest Theatre. They're all new movies, no more than 10 minutes long each, and they are the 12 finalists in this year's "A Place Called Sacramento" film festial. We'll talk with some of the directors about their work.

Samson Koletkar A unique Bay Area comedian is coming to town tomorrow evening for a show at Luna's Cafe. You'll meet Samson Koletkar who bills himself as the only known Jewish Indian Standup Comedian.

Bryce Jones The featured performer at this week's comedy show at Luna's Cafe is a 15-year-old from Santa Rosa who's performed with Arj Barker at Cobb's and at the Hollywood Improv. Bryce Jones tells you what it's like to be a teenage comedian.
