Complete Streets A program that aims to make streets safer for all users is getting national attention. Last Friday, a Sacramento woman went to Washington D.C. to testify on behalf of Complete Streets. Hmong Cuisine "Cooking From the Heart" is a new book about Hmong cuisine. The co-authors are life-long friends. Sheng Yang was born in Laos and came to America when she was a child. In Oregon, she met teacher Sami Scripter and they clicked. Thirty years later, Yang now lives in Sacramento, but she and Sami have stayed friends.

Shakespeare Comedy Marathon Shakespeare wrote a lot of plays including more than a dozen comedies. That's plenty of material to fill a 30-hour Shakespeare comedy reading marathon. It starts this afternoon at three in Sacramento and wraps up at nine tomorrow evening. It's put on by the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival as a fund-raiser for their annual performances. We'll talk with three of the participants and hear a reading.
