Power Line Controversy A plan to build hundreds of miles of electric transmission lines in Northern California is drawing criticism. Why are the lines needed and why are people concerned? Today on Insight, we'll hear about the plan from the Transmission Agency of Northern California and talk about it with a Yolo County supervisor.
Plagiarism Update We'll follow up on a story we covered on Insight a few months ago. Local author Candy Chand was plagiarized by a much more famous writer, Neale Donald Walsch. A story he had been telling as if it were something he had personally experienced was actually a true story written by Chand. She recently settled with him and we'll talk with her and her lawyer about it.
"Tommy" The great rock opera "Tommy" plays for one night in Sacramento. It happens next Monday at the Crest. "Tommy" was created in 1969 as an album by the British rock band The Who. A film version came out in 1975 and a stage version opened in 1992. That's the version presented by Artistic Differences, a local theater group that specializes in non-mainstream musicals.
