Arena Update Capital Public Radio News' Ben Adler tells you about an ambitious plan to tear down the current Cal Expo and build, among other things, a new arena. Leading the process is the National Basketball Association which is concerned about the long-term financially viability of the Sacramento Kings in their current Arco Arena. This is the latest in a years-long series of attempts to build a new sports and entertainment facility in Sacramento.

Linda Tillery Grammy-nominated blues artist Linda Tillery is performing this weekend with the Cultural Heritage Choir in Sacramento. Today on Insight, you’ll meet the San Francisco native and hear some of her music.

Robyn Carr Romance novelist Robyn Carr is speaking in Sacramento. Her popular Virgin River series is set in Northern California and features military men as its heroes.

Robyn Carr is signing books from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28th at Barnes & Noble, 6111 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights.

The Chris and Paul Show The Sacramento All-Sketch Comedy Festival continues tonight with a performance from a New York comedy duo. You'll meet the men behind The Chris and Paul Show.

The All-Sketch Comedy Festival runs through Saturday, Feb. 28th at the 24th Street Theatre, 2791 24th St., Sacramento. Performances being at 7:30 p.m.


Insight will not be heard on Monday, March 2nd to allow a special presentation of California Lectures featuring Julia Glass.
