Public Trail Access A recent encounter between equestrians and motorcyclists on Folsom Lake Trail led to the euthanizing of a horse and injuries to the rider. Today on Insight, we discuss access and safety issues on public trails.

"Mongrel Nation" A new book by a local historian looks at how relationships between blacks and whites in the country's early years have shaped American society. UC Davis professor Clarence Walker tells you about "Mongrel Nation."

"LyreBird" Sacramento native Tyler Coppin takes to the local stage after acting in Australia for the last 30 years. You'll meet him and hear about "LyreBird: Tales of Helpmann."
