Painter Mark Bowles A exhibition of Orangevale artist Mark Bowles' western landscape paintings is opening in Stockton this weekend. You'll meet him and hear about his work.

"Mark Bowles: Following the Light," an exhibit that includes approximately 30 paintings that capture the essence of the western landscape, is at the University of the Pacific's Reynolds Gallery, 1071 W. Mendocino Ave., Stockton. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
