Nestle in McCloud/ Homeless Count/ Ghosts of Wyoming

Nestle in McCloud There's controversy over a proposed bottled-water plant in a small town in Northern California. The multinational food giant Nestle wants to build a facility in the town of McCloud in the hills north of Redding. It would take water out of the McCloud River which in turn feeds the Sacramento River. Many locals are opposed, but just as many support it. We'll talk with people on both sides.

Homeless Count Have the worsening economy, rising joblessness and high foreclosure rate increased the number of homeless in Sacramento County? We'll check in with the Director Bruce Wagstoff of the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance about the annual count of Sacramento's homeless population.

Ghosts of Wyoming You'll meet Sacramento-based Americana rock band Ghosts of Wyoming and hear them perform live in our studio. The band's first album, "Snowy River," was recently released and they'll be performing tonight in Sacramento.

Ghosts of Wyoming perform at 9 p.m. today at Marilyn's, 908 K St., Sacramento. Information: (916) 446-4361.
