Algorithm for College Struggling to select the right college? Today on Insight, you’ll meet UC Davis management professor Richard Dorf, who’s written an algorithm to help prospective college students find the right fit. It's in his new book, "The College Journey: From College to Career 2009."
Tahoe-Based Author Todd Borg is a Lake Tahoe-based author who has written a series of mystery books using his home as the backdrop. His sixth book, "Tahoe Avalanche," was just released. We’ll talk with him about the latest adventures of detective Owen McKenna.
Delhi-Based Author Anita Jain was raised in Sacramento, and lives in Delhi. Her latest book is "Marrying Anita: A Quest for Love in the New India." It is about her search for a husband using the more traditional methods practiced in her ancestral home.
Virginia City Camel Races Some of the jockeys in this year’s race join us to talk about the camels, ostriches and emus that compete in the event.
