50 Years in SF / "Tomorrow's Table" / Bruce Betts

Fifty Years in San Francisco  Fifty years ago today, major league baseball arrived in Northern California when the then New York Giants relocated to city by the Bay. Sacramento Bee sports writer Paul Gutierrez tells us how the decades old competition between the Giants and their Brooklyn rivals would be continued on the West coast between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"Tomorrow's Table"  A new book about organic farming and genetics is being released this month. Today on Insight, you'll meet the Davis-based husband and wife team behind "Tomorrow's Table: Organic Farming, Genetics and the Future of Food." Pamela Ronald, a professor in the department of Plant Pathology at UC Davis, and Raoul Adamchak, Market Garden Coordinator at UC Davis, tell you where they see the future of food going.

Bruce Betts  We'll talk with a Sacramento native who worked at NASA and now directs Projects for the Planetary Society.
